A Little Bit About The Rookie
Well hello there!
Welcome to the Social Work Rookie's encouraging, uplifting and sometimes silly little slice of mental health heaven where you can find all things dedicated to mental health, whimsy and cheer!
My name is E'dee and I am the creator of the Social Work Rookie. I am a social worker that has served as a therapist in private practice, hospice and other social work settings. I have worked with clients of all ages and I wholeheartedly LOVE helping others find hope and healing!
From my experience working in mental health, I recognized a need to join the community of mental health advocates that works diligently to shine light in the lives of others and wanted to offer mental health products to normalize the conversation about mental health and spread some cheer.
The Social Work Rookie offers handpicked mental health merch and other items that are sure to spark a smile.
Be sure to check out the Rookie Blog and stay tuned for the Social Work Rookie Learning Academy that will launch in 2024 and will offer courses and a podcast!
All the best,
Edith
